Why do companies sometimes advertise lower prices?
There are a few reasons for this:
-A small number of low-cost airlines such as Go and EasyJet do not currently
participate in the airline reservation system.
-Some companies don’t believe in showing ‘lead-in’ prices. Other companies
may advertise fares that are only available for a handfblockquote of seats, which
may already be sold out.
-Some travel companies buy blocks of seats from airlines, which allows them
more flexibility when selling those seats.
What do the Advanced Flight Options do?
We recommend you leave as many of these options open as you can, as it will
increase your chances of finding the lowest fares.
Airline: Keep your options open and get the lowest prices. An airline
may not fly the route, or may do so only on certain dates.
Non-Stop only: This will show only non-stop flight options for your
chosen route. It may not be possible to fly non-stop on certain routes, in
which case you will probably get no resblockquotets. It is often cheaper to fly with
connecting flights than non-stop.
Fares with least restrictions: These fares are almost always more
expensive, as they allow more flexibility for changes and cancellations
after ticketing.
Fares with no advance-purchase restrictions: Again, these fares may
be more expensive, as they can be purchased at any time up to the date of
travel.
Questions about infants in laps / child ages / student tickets, etc.?
Infants under two years of age qualify for much-reduced prices, as they do
not get their own seats. If you want your infant to sit in its own seat, you
will have to treat it as a child in the reservations process. Children are
aged between 2 and 11 years inclusive. If you have questions about student
prices, or senior-citizen fares, please contact our call centre.
How much luggage can I take?
For international air travel, each passenger is allowed to check 2 bags and
carry 1 bag. The maximum dimensions for checked luggage is 62 inches (length
+ width + height) and the sum of the dimensions for the 2 bags combined
cannot exceed 107 inches. In addition, the weight of each bag cannot exceed
70 pounds. An additional bag, an oversized bag, or an overweight bag woblockquoted
be subject to an excess baggage charge.
In lieu of a piece of checked baggage, any item listed below woblockquoted be
considered as 1 piece of checked luggage, regardless of actual dimensions.
• 1 Sleeping Bag
• 1 Back Pack
• 1 Pair of Snow Skis (with one pair of ski boots and poles)
• 1 Duffel Type Bag
• 1 Packed Bicycle (provided the handlebars are turned sideways and the
pedals removed)
For your carry on bag the sum of the linear dimensions cannot exceed 45
inches. In some cases a bag of a lesser size woblockquoted be required for smaller
aircraft.
However, please note getting your luggage from one place to another is
the easy part, carrying it around is the real challenge! |
